A Swiss Alps Weekend in Spiez
A couple of weekends ago, I took an impromptu trip to Switzerland – as we all know it’s one of my favorite European countries, and it’s especially easy now that I live in Paris.
This time I opted to return to the Swiss Alps, and took a chance on Spiez.
It was a fairly chill trip, and I mostly wanted to share this post to share all of my pictures – as it had been five years since the last time I went to the Swiss Alps!
I arrived at my hotel, La Belle Vue Spiez Boutique Hotel & Cafe, and enjoyed and iced oat milk coffee while exhaling for the first time in a few weeks.
I then took a trip to Coop, one of my favorite things to do in Switzerland – and bought all the vegan karma chocolate I could!
I then went back to my hotel to grab things for a calm Saturday afternoon: which included journaling and taking a swim while I avoided the heatwave back home in Paris!
I then went wandering for photos – and evidently, found a lot of opportunities!
I then sat near the lake and took a swim in the cold, invigorating water… it felt good against the strong summer Swiss sun.
I made my walk back to my hotel, and of course – took a few more pictures before chatting with some Sweedish girls about my latest life dilemma.
I then ended my short trip by watching the sunset at my hotel, journaling, and enjoying dinner with a view.
I did a similar thing the next morning: journaled, enjoyed the view… before going back home to France.
